E. Ralph Patsel, Registrar & Director of Institutional Research at Bluefield State College, was
presented the "Anderson-Milam Award," during the annual West Virginia Association of Collegiate
Registrars & Admissions Officers (WVACRAO) Fall meeting in Shepherdstown earlier this month.
Patsel, who served as WVACRAO's state president during the 1999-2000 year, has been active in WVACRAO for approximately 10 years, delivering several programs and serving on numerous committees.
The "Anderson-Milam Award" was established in 1976 to commemorate the services of Douglas Anderson, former Registrar at West Virginia State College, and Otis Milam, former Registrar at Fairmont State College. The award commemorates distinguished service and is presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to WVACRAO.
"WVACRAO provides extremely valuable support to help us develop professionally," Patsel noted. "It's very gratifying for me to know WVACRAO is appreciative of my work over the past ten years."
