"Critical Care" Nursing Review Offered
at BSC, May 29-30
A comprehensive two-day program, "Critical Care Review"
will be presented at Bluefield State College, May 29-30. The program,
which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the Tierney
Conference Room/Dickason Hall, provides an opportunity to review for the
Critical Care Registered Nurse (AACN) Certification. The program is
designed for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who have
developed a basic understanding of critical care nursing. The course
can also provide a means for refreshing the participant's critical care
knowledge.
Bluefield State College is approved by the West Virginia State Board of
Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses, Registration #WVBPN:080, and
the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses,
Registration #WV96-0044RN. This program is approved to award 7.8
contact hours per day, a total of 15.6 contact hours for both days.
Seating is limited, so early registration is advised. Advance
registration is $60 for the entire program, and $30 for either day.
