"I'm very pleased and excited for the opportunity to continue as the head women's basketball coach at BSC," he said. "We made significant progress last season, finishing sixth in the West Virginia Conference (10-8 conference record), and we are ready to accept the challenge to move the program forward." That mark is a significant improvement over BSC's 3-16 conference record during the 1998-99 season, the year before O'Neal took over as coach.

He also expressed appreciation to Dr. Moore and the BSC administration for its support of the entire athletic program at the College.
