"Kids Kollege" at BSC Begins June 24

(BLUEFIELD) - "Kids Kollge," a summer enrichment program offered by the BSC Center for Economic Enhancement, will be presented at Bluefield State College during two one-week sessions, June 24-28 and July 22-26, for students in grades 1-6. Kids Kollege provides students the opportunity to pursue a particular area of interest, or to build skills in another area.

Instructors strive to make learning a relaxing and enjoyable experience for students. All classes have a limited enrollment, and preregistration is required. Students will be enrolled in the grade level matching that of their next school year.

Class offerings include: "Postcards from Pompeii," Solar System Secrets," "Hands on Rocketry," "Walk like an Egyptian," and "WV-VA History." Recreational sessions including swimming and crafts are planned for each week, along with a snack time and lunch each day.
