(BLUEFIELD)–Two Bluefield State College Business Division faculty
members have been selected for inclusion in the prestigious Who's Who
Among America's Teachers 2002. Dr. Steve Bourne and Dr. John Snead were
recently notified of their selection by Parke H. Davis, publisher of
Who's Who.
Davis noted, "This is a great honor, because these individuals have been chosen by their community as very influential educators within your college." Educational Communications, Inc., parent corporation of the publication, also publishes Who's Who Among American High School Students and The National Dean's List.
"It's a real honor to be selected for inclusion in this publication, particularly because our nominations were submitted by our students," Dr. Bourne (Professor of Business) said.
"This recognition is particularly gratifying to me, because it has arisen as I have returned to my alma mater as a faculty member," Dr. Snead (Professor of Business) added.
Bourne and Snead have been featured presenters at numerous academic and
professional conferences, and their research has been included a variety
of business, industry, and academic publications.
