GCCC Set Registration January 16-17
Closed January 20 for Martin Luther King Day

The general registration for the Spring semester at Greenbrier Community College Center will be Jan. 16-17 on the second floor of Greenbrier Hall, located in Academy Park at the corner of U.S. 60 West and Church Street, Lewisburg.

Over 190 classes in 35 areas of study will be offered the residents of Greenbrier, Monroe, Pocahontas, Summers, eastern Fayette, southern and eastern Nicholas counties as well as the neighboring Alleghany Highlands of Virginia during the spring semester.

Classes for the spring semester will begin Tuesday, Jan. 21, while later registration will continue through Tuesday, Jan. 28.

The GCCC, including all offices, the library, computer laboratories, Greenbrier Hall, The Annex, Jefferson Office Complex and the Machine Tools Laboratory in Caldwell, will be closed Jan. 21 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Over 1,000 students, a record enrollment at GCCC, participated in classes during the fall semester, according to Roger Griffith, assistant director of GCCC, who added, "We hope even more area residents will take the step up to their future through Greenbrier Community College and Bluefield State College this spring semester."
