to Present Two Small Business Workshops
(BLUEFIELD)–Through a partnership arrangement between the WVU Institute
of Technology Small Business Development Center and the Bluefield State
College Research and Development Corporation, a pair of workshops for
current and potential small business owners/personnel will be presented
on Thursday, January 16, 2003. Both workshops will take place at the
Tierney Conference Center Auditorium in Dickason Hall on the Bluefield
campus of Bluefield State College.
The "Starting a Business in West Virginia" workshop begins the day's
activities. This two-hour program begins at 10 a.m., and will be
followed at 1 p.m. by a second two-hour workshop, "Planning & Financing
a Business." A registration/participation fee of $10/person permits
attendees to take part in both workshops.
