Second Summer Term Begins
June 30 at GCCC

Registration for the second summer term of classes at Greenbrier Community College Center begins Monday, June 30, with classes beginning that evening.

Courses offered include Computers and Society 12:30 to 3:50 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Advanced Web Program, the time to be announced.

Also offered is English 102, Research, 3:30 p.m. to 5:50 p.m., Fundamentals of Speech, 6 p.m. to 8:20 p.m., both Monday through Thursday; Music Skills in the Classroom, 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. Monday and Wednesday and Medical Assisting 202, Clinical Extern ship II, 6 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. on Mondays.

During the second term, the GCC Library will be open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"While the extra hours are to serve the students attending the second summer term classes, the public is, as always, welcome to use the library facilities during this time as well," says Bob Cotton, librarian. The GCCC Library is the only research-oriented library in the Greenbrier Valley.

Coston has a support staff during the summer of students Pamela Renick, Williamsburg; Sara Fix, Hillsdale; and Rebecca Eli, Pickaway, as well as part time assistant to the Librarian Mike Williams of Fairlea.

General registration for the second summer term will be Monday and Tuesday, June 30 and July 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main offices of GCCC on the second floor of Greenbrier Hall in Academy Park, US 60 West at Church Street, Lewisburg.
