Greenbrier Valley Campus
Hosts Puppet Theatre at GVT

"Out of the Mist...A Dragon" will be presented by the Wood and String Puppet Theatre at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. and is open to the public with no admission, although donations would be appreciated.

Sponsored by Bluefield State College, the program is being presented as one of the community services of the Greenbrier Valley Campus of NRCTC through its administrative link with BSC.

"The donation at the door, which is strictly optional, will go towards paying the rent on the GVT facility," says Wanda Johnson, program coordinator with the office of Student Services at GVCNRCTC.

"We hope everyone in the Greenbrier Valley will see that children of all ages get to see this presentation," Johnson added.

The Greenbrier Valley Theatre is located at 113 E. Washington Street, Lewisburg, and further information on the program can be obtained by telephoning Johnson at 304-647-6710 or visiting her office just off the Student Activities Center on the first floor of Greenbrier Hall, the main office and classroom building for the more than 1,000 students attending the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College.

The GVCNRCTC serves the Monroe, Pocahontas, Summers, Greenbrier, eastern Fayette and southern Nicholas county area and the nearby Alleghany Highlands of Virginia as the only undergraduate institution of higher education in the Greenbrier Valley.
