Class of 1964 |
Returning for ther second art show in the BSC Student Center, Lahoma Schuller remembers her first exhibit which took place at this same location in 1964. Ms. Schuller is a 1964 alumnus of the BSC Education Department majoring in English and holding a minor in Art. Having taught at Fairview Junior High School until 1987, Ms. Schuller has instructed hundreds of young artists. She received her masters in art at Marshall University.
Having achieved many awards over the years for both her paintings and fabric art, Ms. Schuller's most recent recognitions include the Virginia Highlands fiber art contest. Today, Ms. Schuller exhibites in the Hebert Gallery, fabric art, acrylics, oils and sculpture.
