Makes Donation to the
"Brent Jones Memorial Animal Shelter"

| The "Minorities on the Move" student organization at Bluefield State College recently donated more than 60 bottles of bleach to the Tazewell County Animal Shelter. The donation was made in memory of the late Brent Jones, a local student whose love for live and for animals was recognized by the donation. (BLUEFIELD)--"Minorities on the Move," a student organization at Bluefield State College, recently made a significant donation to the Tazewell County Animal Shelter in memory of the late Brent Jones, a Bluefield, VA public school student.
"After reading an article about Brent's love for life and for animals, Minorities on the Move decided to make a contribution to the Tazewell County Animal Shelter to honor his memory," explained organization advisor Terry Thompson.
Minorities on the Move presented more than 60 bottles of bleach to shelter representatives during a brief ceremony at the College. The bleach will be used to clean and maintain the animals' living quarters at the shelter.
Minorities on the Move undertakes several community service projects each year.
