Applications for these scholarships are available at the Student Service Office on the second floor of Greenbrier Hall, the main office and classroom building on the GVCNRCTC. "Some of the GCCF Inc. scholarships are for the older, non traditional student," Palm emphasizes "and we hope that every students, old and young alike, will apply for the scholarships by the April 15 deadline."
According to Joan Browning of the Greenbrier Community College Foundation Inc., this is the time of year also for area residents, businesses, and organizations to consider endowing or otherwise financially supporting a scholarship for awarding in the spring of 2005.
Anyone interested in gaining information on how to establish a scholarship for the GVCNRCTC can contact Browning at Greenbrier Community College Foundation Inc., PO Box 1360, Lewisburg, 24901 or telephone 304-645-6799.
