(Bluefield) -- Bluefield State College student Patti Owensby has been named
the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) BSC chapter "2004Outstanding Civil Engineering Senior."
The BSC School of Engineering Technology and Computer Science and ASCE honored Owensby for her outstanding leadership, academic achievement, and ASCE contributions.
Owensby is a President's List scholar and ASCE chapter secretary. The daughter of Roger and Patricia Owensby of Bluefield, WV, she plans to pursue a master's degree and enter a mining/environmental field upon graduation.
