Greenbrier East, West Students Visit GVCNRCTC

Students from Greenbrier West High School in Charmco and Greenbrier East High School in Fairlea participated in the special Prep Tech program offered at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College during the last week.

The students from Greenbrier West High School gathered in the Hollowell Auditorium on the first floor of Greenbrier Hall, the main office and classroom building for GVCNRCTC with Dan Boone, instructor of English at GWHS and at the GVCNRCTC, to open the event.

During the visit to college and career exploration workshops, the students had an opportunity to view the possible fields of study and the job outlook in those fields.

Pocahontas County High School will be visiting May 7 and James Monroe High School was the first school in the area to visit for the Tech Prep program.
