Access Level I, II Training Set at GVCNRCTC April 26,27; May 12,13

Business leaders from throughout the Greenbrier Valley and Alleghany Highlands are encouraged to have their employees participate in the Access Level I and II training sessions scheduled April 26-27 and May 12-13 at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College.

A joint venture by the GVCNRCTC, the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corp. and the WV Small Business Development Center, the training sessions will be held in the GVCNRCTC's Center for Workforce and Business Development's training facilities in Jefferson Office Place, South Court Street, Lewisburg.

"Students will learn to create databases and work with data by using tables, queries, forms and reports," says Terri Baker of the GVCNRCTC Center for Workforce and Business Development who adds, "This class is for the new user of Access and assumes no experience with relational databases."

The Access II training is for the more advanced Access student, learning how to use complex query techniques, create efficient forms and reports and create macros to automate their forms, Baker adds.

To register and guarantee a seat in either set of training sessions, telephone Missy Altizer of the Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corp. at 304-645-7155 or visit or write the offices of the Center for Workforce and Business Development at GVCNRCTC in Jefferson Office Place, 203 South Court Street, Lewisburg, 24901.

The Greenbrier Valley Campus serves the Pocahontas, Summers, Monroe, Greenbrier, eastern Fayette, southern Nicholas county area as well as the neighboring Alleghany Highlands of Virginia and for special classes such as the Access I, II training sessions, the tuition is the same for residents of both states.
