General registration for the spring semester will be Jan. 13-14 as well as payment of fees for students enrolling in the general registration. Current students who enrolled during the early registration can pay fees up through Jan. 12.
There is also a late registration period through Jan. 24 for adding classes or late registration.
"We are offering more classes than usual because we realize that the spring semester is a great time for our Greenbrier Valley students to enroll in classes which may help in the hospitality industry and related businesses," notes Roger Griffith, director of the GVCNRCTC. "With the tourist and business season slowing down during the January through early April, the time is available for area residents to take advantage of our course offerings."
Among the "unique" classes offered in the upcoming semester are Managerial Accounting, Art Appreciation, Introduction to Aviation and Aerospace, Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology, Quantitative Techniques in Business, Web Programming, Substance Abuse, Private Security, Diversity and Education, Technical Writing, Major American Authors,
Also, Technical Mathematics, Unfinished Nations, Civil War, Hospitality Law, Administrative Advocacy, Select Topics-Machine Tools Skills (Welding), Advertising and Promotion, Trigonometry, Blueprint Reading, Integrated Science II, Strength Training, Introduction to Public Administration, Administrative Office Management, Lifespan and Human Development, and Dealing with Diversity.

The GVCNRCTC serves the Summers, Monroe, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, eastern Fayette, southern Nicholas counties of WV and the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia as the only undergraduate institution of higher education in the Greenbrier Valley.
All classes and courses of study are fully accredited and the GVCNRCTC is administratively linked to Bluefield State College and the four year programs offered by BSC.
