On the Greenbrier Valley Campus, the offices, computer labs, and the GVC Library will be open through Dec. 22, but then will close until Jan. 3.
Office hours for the various administrative offices will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Dec. 22 and from Jan. 3, Monday through Friday, until Jan. 13-14 when the GVCNRCTC will hold general registration for the spring semester.
"Any student from another college who wishes to attend GVCNRCTC needs to come into our offices during that early January period to take care of admissions, possible financial aid, and anything else that will lead to registering for classes on Jan. 13-14," notes Roger Dale Griffith, director of the GVCNRCTC.
Meanwhile, the Real Estate Pre-Licensing course which was scheduled to begin Jan. 6 will begin Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Hollowell Auditorium on the first floor of Greenbrier Hall, the main office and classroom building on the GVC. Further information on that 90-hour class can be obtained by telephoning 304-647-6570.
The Greenbrier Valley Campus serves the Pocahontas, Summers, Monroe, Greenbrier, eastern Fayette and southeastern Nicholas county area as the only undergraduate institution of higher education in the Valley. Students also come from Raleigh County as well as the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia.
The GVCNRCTC is located on U.S. 60 at Church Street on the western side of Lewisburg as a part of Academy Park.
