Training Team has "New Year"
Reorganization Session

The training team organized by the Greenbrier Valley Campus Center for Workforce and Business Development in cooperation with other area agencies last summer held a reorganization session since the New Year to be better prepared to serve the area business community.

Terri Baker, coordinator for the GVCNRCTC Center, notes that this group is available to provide nearly any kind staff training and development for business throughout the Greenbrier Valley.

During the session, the group welcomed Robin Morgan, program manager for Region I Workforce Investment Board as a member of the team.

Members of the team are Tennis Parrish, program mangers of WV Small Business Development Center; Marlene Pierson, executive director, Greater Greenbrier Valley Chamber of Commerce; Robin Morgan, program manager, Region I Workforce Investment Board; Kim Donahur, Manger, WV Development Office; Terri Baker, coordinator, Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College's Center for Workforce and Business Development; and Missy Altizer, assistant director, Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation.

In other Center for Workforce and Business Development news, the GVCNRCTC arranged for a class, "Building Bridges to a Brighter Future," a real estate pre-licensing course, to be offered beginning Jan. 6 with Martha Hilton, ABR, CRS, GRI, Broker, of Lewisburg serving as instructor.
