A local music group, "The Carpenter's Helpers," performed in concert at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College just in time for the group to announce an upcoming appearance on the National Public Radio program, "Music from the Mountains" which airs on WV Public Radio Friday nights.
