A “campus carnival & casino” will be presented on October 13, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Harris-Jefferson Student Center, with an all-campus picnic scheduled for the same date, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., also at the Student Center.
October 14 has been designated as “School Spirit Day,” with campus offices decorated to reflect BSC pride, and at noon, BSC President Dr. Albert Walker will read a proclamation, designating “BSC Alumni Day,” with students, faculty, staff, and alumni encouraged to wear the College’s colors, blue & gold. The traditional homecoming parade will begin at 6 p.m., beginning on North Street, and will conclude at the College, with a campus carnival, live music, and games, beginning at 7 p.m.
The 2004 homecoming coronation (7:30 p.m.) and dance (9 p.m.) will take place on October 15, with the Founder’s Day program slated for October 16, at noon, in the Harris-Jefferson Student Center. Individuals wishing to attend this program are asked to RSVP by calling 327-4569 or 327-4187.
Throughout the week of homecoming, special exhibits will be on display in the BSC Archives (Hardway Library), the Alumni House (Hatter Hall) and throughout the campus. There is no admission charge for any of these events/programs.
