East River Mountain Chapter of the
American Association of Critical Care Nurses
and BSC Hosts an Educational Program
The East River Mountain Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in conjunction with Bluefield State College will host an educational program on Wednesday, April 6, 2006. The subject is “Wound Healing In The Critically Ill Patient” . Speakers will include Rick Puckett, RN and Janet Shrewbury, RN on “Wound Assessment and Product Selection”, Katherine Brown, RN on “Case Studies Using Wound V.A.C.”, Debra Jones, RD on “Managing the Nutritional Needs of the Patient with CARS and SIRS” and Bob Bageant, BS, MS, RT on “Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy” . The program will be from 9:00AM-4:00PM in the Tierney Conference Center at Bluefield State College. The fee is $30 for local AACN members and $35 for all others.
