Issac Dillard to Speak Sunday at GVCNRCTC

The office of student services and student activities at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College invites the public to join the faculty, staff, students, and administration on Sunday, April 24, at 4 p.m. for a free program by Issac Dillard on “After Childhood Sexual Abuse.”

Appearing as part of the Child Abuse Prevention Month, Dillard will share his own experiences of healing through poetry from childhood abuse. Door prizes will be awarded.

The program will be in the student activities center on the north end of the first floor of Greenbrier Hall, the main office and classroom building on the GVCNRCTC. The building is handicapped accessible.

Also during the week, the Student Government Association is hosting a convocation on “DUI Cost and Consequences Program by Kelly Vaughan of Seneca Mental Health Services on April 20; Student Appreciation Week April 18-21; and the Spring Awards Banquet April 30.
