Phi Theta Kappa Purchases Stoles for Member Graduates

Dr. Lucie T. Refsland (left), professor of Mathematics at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College, accepts Phi Theta Kappa national honorary stoles for use by future members in graduation and society initiation from outgoing president Lester Bowden (right) of Lewisburg.

The stoles were purchases with the proceeds from a 50/50 fundraiser during the fall of 2003- 04 college year.

Known as Beta Zeta DeltalChapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the honorary's members have also set an April 3, 2 p.m. time for the annual initiation ceremony which will be held in Hollowell Auditorium on the first floor of Greenbrier Hall , the main office and classroom building for GVCNRCTC, and the public is invited.
