(Bluefield)—The Blue Chicory Players of Bluefield State College are busily preparing for their second production of the year, “Two by Two,” a musical telling the story of Noah and his family as they build an ark and follow God’s orders that all who board it shall enter “two by two.”
The play is under the direction of Dr. Alma Bennett, BSC Assistant Professor of Speech, with the assistance of music director Dr. Charles Pickeral, BSC Assistant Professor of Music, and Rhonda Adkins. The cast includes Don Warrick as Noah, and Melissa Epperson, a BSC student, as his wife, Ester. Their sons are played by BSC students Daniel Clark, Barry Dalton, and Joshua Winfree. Other cast members include Jamie Epperson and BSC students April Swim and Shamatee Mitchell.
Dr. Bennett noted, “This is a delightful comedy that will thrill with its intimate look at Noah and his family. With its beautiful music, this is a show the entire family will enjoy.” “Two by Two” will be presented on April 14-16, at 7:30 p.m. nightly, in the Basic Science Auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door on the evening of each performance. Additional information can be obtained by contacting Dr. Bennett (304-327-4432).
