BSC Named an Historically Black College of the Month By Tom Joyner
Bluefield State College has been named an "Historically Black College of the Month" by national radio personality Tom Joyner. During the month of May, 2005, the Tom Joyner Foundation will raise funds for BSC to support student scholarship. The Word attachment provides details. A news conference and ceremony, February 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. in Hatter Hall/Alumni House at BSC will formally announce the designation as the TJF "HBCU of the Month" for May 2005. Media, BSC students/employees/alumni/friends, and the public are encouraged to attend the program.
