BSC Center for Applied Research & Technology
Accepts Invitation to Partner with
The Technology Collaborative

(Bluefield)-The Center for Applied Research & Technology (CART) at Bluefield State College has accepted an invitation to enter into a working relationship with The Technology Collaborative, an organization created by the merger of the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse (PDG) and the Robotics Foundry. Bruce Mutter, CART Director, received the invitation from Robotics Foundry officials recently.

The invitation provides CART with an opportunity to submit professional papers and attend networking sessions. The Technology Collaborative was established to expand development and utilization of agile robotics technology.

CART was created to stimulate innovative engineering and emerging technologies in the discovery of advanced research and design applications for economic development, industrial problem-solving, and homeland security/national defense strengthening purposes. “CART was established to improve the competitive position of BSC for applied research opportunities in the current environment of research and development,” Mutter noted. CART and The Technology Collaborative share the vision of utilizing technology and technology transfer for economic development in our region. We eagerly anticipate the opportunities that will arise from our association with The Technology Collaborative.”
