Attention enthusiastic photographers! New River Community and Technical College will offer a course in Black and White Photography starting February 5th. Black and White photography is a great way to learn about the photographic medium.
This four week class, taught by photographer Mark Allen, will teach you to take photographs not just snapshots. This is a basic course for beginners and those who have not been in a traditional darkroom for years. If you want to learn more about your 35mm camera and the art of taking a good picture as well as developing your black and white film, this is the class for you. You will be guided through the process of developing your negatives, learning to use the enlarger and other simple darkroom techniques.
Call NRCTC at 872-4520 to get the necessary skills and know how to pursue a new hobby. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
