Fourty Nine Enrolled in GVCNRCTC Elderhostel

Forty nine visitors from 15 states and the District of Columbia arrived in the Greenbrier Valley July 17 to participate in the second Elderhostel program of the summer at the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College.

Hosted by the Center for Workforce and Business Development at the GVCNRCTC, the program includes visits to North House Museum of the Greenbrier Historical Society, Carnegie Hall WV, historical district in Lewisburg, the General Lewis Inn, Grandview Park, Exhibition Coal Mine, Tamarack, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, The Greenbrier and White Sulphur Springs, the Sweet Springs Valley, historic district in Union, Wolf Creek Winery, and the Greenbrier Valley Theatre.

"We are please to have such a great turn out for the July Greenbrier Valley Adventure program and look forward to bring visitors from throughout the United States and some foreign countries to our area," noted Terri Baker, program coordinator for the Center for Workforce and Business Development at the Greenbrier Valley Campus, who hosts the Elderhostel.
