Park H. Davis, Chairman/National Academic Affairs for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, noted that only 5% of all teachers are honored in each edition of the publication, and less than 2% are multiple year honorees. “You have been selected for this honor because you ‘made a difference’ in the life of one of your former students,” Davis stated. Faculty are nominated by students who have been recognized for excellence by inclusion in a Who’s Who scholastic or collegiate publication.
Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers was first published in 1990. The volume became an annual publication in 2004 and will release its ninth edition later this year.
