Board of Advisors Members Honored by NRCTC

Members of the former Board of Advisors of New River Community and Technical College were honored recently for “outstanding service to NRCTC” with Dr. Felcia B. Wooten Blanks, interim president of NRCTC, presiding over the presentations. The recently appointed Board of Governors of the state’s newest fully and independently accredited college have assumed the duties and responsibilities of the advisors.

Honored for service to the NRCTC were Edward Knight, Lewisburg; Marilyn Leftwich, White Sulphur Springs; Gerald Hough, Summersville; Vickie Nutter, Craigsville; Leslie Baker, Beckley; William Blake, Lewisburg; Marilyn Kiddle, Hinton; Mary Igo, Summersville; Kay Carpenter, Webster Springs; David Nalker, Lewisburg, Robert Farley, Princeton; William Sherwood, Princeton, and Martha Davis, Summersville.

NRCTC serves the central and southern WV from campuses in Beckley at Harper Industrial Park; Bluefield at Bluefield State College; Greenbrier Valley at Lewisburg; and Nicholas County at Summersville and the College is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
