(Bluefield)—The second annual “Brian Delp Memorial 5K Run and Walk” will be held at Bluefield State College on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 6 p.m. at the College. The event, a featured activity during BSC’s homecoming week, is designed to raise funds for the “Humanitarian Athletic Award,” a scholarship in memory of the late Brian A. Delp, a BSC student-athlete who lost his life while assisting a stranded motorist five years ago.
Entry fee is $15, if paid before October 1, ($8 for walkers) and $18 on the day of the race.
