Great Eastern Trail Meeting
Held on BSC Campus

Several of this the MidAtlantic region’s most avid hiking enthusiasts gathered at Bluefield State College recently to discuss options for developing the Great Eastern Trail—a proposed hiking trail from Alabama to New York state.  The trail would create linkages between several currently developed trails to establish a 2000+ mile trail, which would provide a parallel hiking experience to the well known Appalachian Trail.  More information about the trail can be obtained by contacting Tom Johnson (703) 615-5611 or Peggy Pings (304) 293-2941 ext 2446.
