Bluefield State College students (left-to-right, picture on left) Natey Tesfaye, Sulayman Njie, and Dusan Zivkovic joined BSC students (left-to-right, picture on right) Logan Shortridge, Erica Meade, and Bruno Pozzani during a “Perspectives on Immigration” forum at the College. The program, moderated by Craig Hammond, host of WHIS Radio’s local talk show, “RadioActive,” helped students and BSC employees gain a greater understanding of, and appreciation for the challenges and opportunities inherent in the issue of immigration. Nearly 80 BSC students, employees, and community residents attended the program, which was sponsored by the BSC Office of Multicultural Affairs. |
