Job Fair at BSC, March 31-April 1,
Creates Opportunities for Many

The tenth annual Spring Job Fair at Bluefield State College, March 31-April 1, is a collaborative project involving BSC, Concord, Bluefield College, Southwest Virginia Community College, and Wytheville Community College. The Job Fair, at BSC's Ned Shott Gymnasium, is designed to provide students, recent graduates, and other individuals pursuing career interests with the opportunity to meet and discuss options with potential future employers.

A record 55 recruiters and 335 students took part in the last year's Spring Job Fair at Bluefield State College.

"This event brings employment opportunities for students approaching graduation, along with recent graduates," noted BSC Director of Career Planning & Placement Tom Harrison. "It also provides a laboratory-type learning experience for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who get to meet and talk to prospective employers."

Businesses and organizations wishing to participate in this year's Job Fair may contact Tom Harrison at (304) 327-4011 for additional information. There is no registration fee for businesses, organizations, or individuals participating in the event.
