BSC Criminal Justice Club
Attends Conference in Cincinnati

Eleven student members of the BSC Criminal Justice Club, the "Enforcers," attended the 17th annual Training Conference and Jail Expo in Cincinnati, OH, April 25-30. Students were accompanied by BSC Assistant Professor Shelia Hallman-Warner, the club's advisor.

The students received special recognition at the opening session of the conference, where leaders noted the BSC contingent was the largest student group to attend the event in its seventeen year history. Keynote speaker for the opening session was Dr. Kathleen Hawk Sawyer, Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Members of the "Enforcers" also attended training sessions and toured the Expo, which featured 222 exhibitors. They also toured a prison facility and visited the Cincinnati Zoo, a Cincinnati Reds' game at Riverfront Stadium, and various other sites of interest.

The "Enforcers" club was recently nominated as BSC's "Organization of the Year."
