BSC Creative Retirement Center
Announces July Computer Classes

The Creative Retirement Center at Bluefield State College has scheduled computer workshops for adults, 50 years of age "and better." The workshops are designed to assist participants in developing skills in "Windows 95," as well as "Internet and e-mail."

The July "Windows 95" workshop is an introductory course designed to provide insight into the basics of the "Windows" program. It will be held for three consecutive Wednesdays (6 p.m.-8 p.m.), beginning July 8.

The "Internet and e-mail" workshop, scheduled for three consecutive Fridays (1 0:30 a.m.12:30 p.m.), begins July 10. It will enable participants to use the Internet for entertainment, information, and fun. The e-mail curriculum concentrates on cultivating participants' skills in the area of composing, sending, receiving, replying to, and forwarding electronic mail messages.

Individual registration is $35 per workshop, and seating is limited. The workshops will be conducted in Dickason Hall, room 11 9, on the BSC campus. To reserve a seat in either workshop, or to obtain more information about this and other Creative Retirement Center activities, call (304) 327-4071.
