"Stress Reduction" Workshop to be Presented in Beckley, November 17

A "Stress Reduction" workshop will be presented Nov. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. at the National Mine Health & Safety Academy in Beckley. The workshop, offered through the Bluefield State College Center for Economic Enhancement, will feature presenter Betty Nash Blevins, RN, MSN, CCRN, CS.

Blevins, an Associate Professor of Nursing in the BSN program at Bluefield State College, has more than 20 years' nursing experience and has presented numerous programs to hospitals in the area and throughout the state.

Preregistration ($25/participant) may be arranged through the BSC Center for Economic Enhancement, 219 Rock Street, Bluefield, WV 24701. Additional information may be obtained by calling (304) 327-4071.

Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing because the workshop involves a moderate degree of physical activity. Bluefield State College is approved by the WV State Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses (Registration #WVBPN:080). The program is also approved by the WV State Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses (Registration #WV96-0044RN). This program is approved to award 6.3 contact hours.
