Artwork by Christine Early Bone is now on display in the Hardway Library art gallery at Bluefield State College. The exhibit is open to the public during regular library hours, and will be on display through the end of October.
Bone spent her childhood in Bluefield, WV and now lives in Athens. Her fascination with the local landscape is apparent in her artwork, which focuses on the natural world. It explores themes of motion and light by depicting the flow of water over rocks in local streams and creeks. Her media include oil paint, water color, screen printing, and conte. Her work includes paintings of Camp Creek and the Cascades.
