Julie Delabbio, Associate Professor of Commercial Aquaculture at Bluefield State College has been appointed to the Technical/Industry/Advisory Board of the Northeastern Region Aquaculture Council.
The Aquaculture Council is comprised of 13 northern states involved in growing a variety of aquaculture species. The Technical Advisory Board is responsible for providing recommendations on issues of research, education, and extension in aquaculture.
In accordance with her new Board activities, Professor Delabbio recently attended a two-day meeting in Rhode Island. She represents West Virginia interests on the Board.
