Alumni President's Corner

The Alumni Association is currently working on a project and we need your help. I am sure that by now each of you have received a letter with an explanation of what we are doing. It is an important project that I hope graduates of Bluefield State College will contribute to.

Again, I invite graduates to become members of the Association. Membership fees contribute to scholarships. This year we awarded eight scholarships to students who could not otherwise attend college. For those who have contributed in the past, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and to share a letter received form a recent graduate who was a scholarship awardee.

"Thank you for the scholarship to Bluefield State College. I am grateful to the Alumni Association for affording me the opportunity to attend college. I hope that one day, I can do the same for another student."
