Summary of Happenings at BSC
- Our most recently calculated retention rate from the freshman to the sophomore year
increased to 63.3% from 56.1% the previous year. The national average for schools of our
type is 54%.
- First-time freshman numbers continue to increase (from 503 to 533).
- 7% increase in the number of students from Mercer County schools enrolling at BSC over the last year.
- 35% increase in the number of high school students taking college courses at BSC (from 139 to 187).
- Overall enrollment increased 4%. International student enrollment increased 72% (from 39 to 67).
- Number of institutional scholarship awards increased to over 300, a 50% increase.
