1940's

Lee Roy Perry, '40, was inducted into the Dorsey-Miami Northwestern Senior High School Hall of Fame as an Honorary Lifetime member in recognition of outstanding support and countless dedication and contribution over the years.

1960's

Dr. Deborah Campbell Jackson, '68, is the executive director for the Wyoming Education Association - Cheyenne.

1970's

Byron R. Jackson, '74, is the Director of Network Development for NYL Care Health Plans in New York City. This is the HMO/PPO organization affiliated with the New York Life Insurance Company.

Connie J. Muncy, '75, has been listed in the 1996-97 edition of "Who's Who in Executives and Professionals." She is owner and director of the Summit School of Cosmetology in Wytheville, Virginia.

Wayne H. Pelts, '79, was one of 38 West Virginia instructors who received the "Golden Apple Achiever" certificates in May as part of the 1997 Ashland Inc. Teacher Achievement Awards program. He is a teacher at PikeView High School.

1980's

Mitchell Conner, '85, received the "Young Engineer of the Year" award for the 1997 presented by Central Carolina Chapter of the Professional Engineers of North Carolina.

Christopher P. Jackson, '85, has been elected Pastor of Adwolfe Free Will Baptist Church in Marion, Virginia.

Tina Morgan Judge, '89 and '91, and Mike Judge are the parents of a son, Austin Daniel, born July 5, 1997, weighing in at nine pounds, fifteen and a half ounces. Tina is pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing at the University of Virginia. She is a research assistant and clinical instructor for the University of Virginia School of Nursing.

Thomas Kirk, '80, has joined the Pullin Knopf Fowler & Flanagan firm in Charleston, West Virginia.

Caroline Homes Lilly Nuckolls, '87, is employed by Promina Cobb Hospital as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Cheryl Perkins, '87, married Greg Cruey in November 1996.

Brian Wetzel, '85, is the head golf professional at Twin Falls State Park in Mullens, West Virginia.

1990's

Kimberly Michelle Bowles, '97, married Jeffrey T. Harry, '95, on May 17, 1997.

Mark, '91, and Robin Dishner, '92, became the proud parents of their second daughter, Alexis Brooke, on July 22, 1997. Alexis weighed six pounds and thirteen and three fourths ounces.

David W. Hale, Jr., '94, married Melissa Yvonne Whittaker on April 5, 1997. He is currently a fourth year medical student at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Virgil Kenneda, '94, is beginning his first year of studies at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Bryan K. McKinney, '95, married Bobbe LeAnn Manning on June 21, 1997. He is employed by Bluefield State College as an application system analyst programmer.

Terri L. Pierce, '95 and Lance Lee, '94, were married on May 17, 1997. She is employed by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources in Fairlea and he is employed by the West Virginia Division of Corrections as a parole officer in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Joseph M. Pinter, III, '94, married Spring Leigh Cooper on July 26, 1997. He is a commercial accounts specialist for Auto Zone.

Richard L. Reece, Jr., '92, received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia on May 31, 1997.

Michelle R. Smith, '96, and Chan S. Smith are proud to announce the arrival of their son Daniel Lee. He was born on December 29, 1996.

Rhonda Suzanne Smith, '95, married Kenneth Elwood Cregger on June 21, 1997. She is employed by InSource, Inc., in Bastian, Virginia, as contracts administrator.

Kevin Stewart, '90, and Angela Stacy Stewart, '89, became the proud parents of a daughter, Taylor Madison Stewart, on March 21, 1997. Taylor weighed eight pounds and five ounces.
Thomas A. Wimmer, '91, and Michele L. Vance, '96, were married on June 28, 1997. He is an electrical technician for American Electric and she is employed with McDowell Board of Education. They reside in Brushfork, West Virginia.
