BSC Alert System
Bluefield State College has an ALERT SYSTEM that is designed to provide prompt notification to students, faculty and staff of emergency situations. Emergency conditions may be announced by:
	The Campuswide Warning Speaker System
	Text messages sent via BSC Alert to your cell phone or email accounts
	Emails and phone messages sent to all or portions of the College community
	Emergency announcements posted on the College's electronic marquees
	Announcements on the BSC Info Alert (304.327.4350)
What is a BSC Alert?
BSC Alert is Bluefield State College's urgent notification system, comprised of text messaging by which the College can contact students, faculty, and staff. You are encouraged to subscribe to this service.
What is the Warning Speaker System?
The speaker system would be used, for example, if there was in imminent threat or a situation that is potentially dangerous. In an emergency, speakers around campus will provide verbal instructions on how you should respond.
