Regional and Ethnic Literature Paper 4:

The magic of literature is that it allows us to visit events of times past and to experience the lives of the characters and their emotions and feelings surrounding these events.  While Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee if historical nonfiction and Of Mice and Men is fiction, both share similarities of people caught in large and small events beyond their control.  Explain both as examples of the macrocosm and microcosm.
