Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) at Bluefield State College.  Mission: To provide the College with administrative decision making support by coordinating data collection, analyzing data, and reporting findings.  Purpose: Respond to requests for institutional data from a variety of sources including national and state level regulatory agencies, college guides as well as researchers interested in the Bluefield State College; coordinate the compilation and dissemination of historical data on enrollments, degrees conferred, and retention and graduation rates; maintain a variety of statistics on faculty and staff; manage and report on the College’s course evaluation process; informs the development and evaluation of the Strategic Planning process for the College; and provides support for programmatic review, as well as institutional and general studies assessment.
