Mentoring and Training Core:

Co-Principal Investigator/Director: Martha Eborall, Ph.D.

Goals

The mentoring component of the Center is designed to accomplish the following objectives:

Recruit and train at least one junior research faculty in the Biomedical Sciences.
Enhance the research potential of at least five junior faculty members.
To encourage at least three in-coming freshmen to pursue degrees in health-related sciences.
To disseminate research findings concerning African-American health issues.
