Projects iTown BSC R&D is continuing to work with iTown management and their plan for expansion of internet services to this area. iTown proposes a public/private partnership with the City of Bluefield. The purpose of the partnership is to establish a new fiber network servicing a large portion of southern Mercer County. Using the latest network designs, this will allow the area businesses and residents the ability to have a number of high-speed products delivered over a dedicated transport mechanism. In support of the City of Bluefield, BSC R&D is assisting in this project as needed.
