| Bluefield State College students Karen Thompson, Syvia Vass, and Tammy Blankenship received plaques of achievement, in recognition of their selection as two of the top academic students within the BSC School of Business. Thompson, the School of Business’ “Sophomore of the Year,” and Vass, the School’s “Junior of the Year,” and Tammy Blankenship School's "Senior of the Year”. Thompson received Harley-Davidson stock from Cole Harley-Davidson, and Vass received Norfolk-Southern stock from Pocahontas Land Corporation. Thompson, the School’s “Senior of the Year,” received an award of Citizens Communication stock from Frontier. The stock awards were arranged and coordinated by Karen Harvey, Director of Institutional Advancement and Planning at BSC. |
