- Continue to refine our current teacher preparation program to a standards-based model which emphasizes accountability and also prepares teachers who are knowledgeable in content, proficient in pedagogy and the use of technology, and skilled in working with all students.
- Develop model clinical sites and field requirements to prepare teachers who are competent in helping students in grades K-9 to meet state and national standards.
- Promote student achievement through the improvement of teacher quality and ongoing local inquiry through the collaborative structure.
- Foster positive relationships among students, staff, parents, administrators, and community members.
