TOBACCO USAGE POLICY:
Because the use of cigarettes and tobacco have been determined to be a health hazzard, the use of all tobacco products is prohibited in all campus buildings and in all state vehicles. Smokers are requested to refrain from smoking in or near doors or exits, so that non-smokers are not subject to second-hand smoke.
ALCOHOL/DRUG POLICY
The legal age for the consumption of alcohol and spirits is 21 years in West Virginia. As a non-residential institution, Bluefield State's approach to policies and educational intervention regarding the use of alcohol and/or drugs is creative in its focus. The complete alcohol and drug policy is available in the offices of the Vicre President for Student Affairs, Student Life and Enrollment Services.
